Soul Survivor is the latest solo album from veteran vocalist, songwriter, and producer Tomi Jenkins. His credits over his 40+ years as a successful songwriter include number 1 and top 5 smashes like Word Up, Candy, Single Life, Flirt, Back and Forth, and She's Strange, to name just a few. The 13-song album mixes R&B, Funk, and Jazz elements and features the first single, "Special 1 feat. Jesse Johnson", and includes the title track "Soul Survivor feat. Charlie Singleton", "Like The Sunshine (Carol's Song)", and "Like We Used To."
